| For Elspeth Gibson's show make-up artist Val Garland created a modern take on 1950s glamour, suited to the opulent surroundings backstage at the Royal Opera House, where models were soothed with champagne and live piano music.
Val told fuk that the look is "sophisticated, womanly but sexy, with a healthy looking skin and emphasis concentrated on the mouth." The grown red lips were created using Max Factor Lasting Colour self Renew lipstick in shade 145, carefully applied with a brush. The lips were kept matt for day but glazed with a glossing stick, also by Max Factor, for the evening wear section of the show. |
