This is a fabulously fruity collection which celebrates glamour and gorgeousness in a psychedelic explosion of blinding colour. 'Don't hate me because I'm beautiful' is theatrical and fun. Groovy 50s style puffed sleeves, puff ball skirts, pink and orange spotted dresses, slouch pants, gathered fabrics and ruffles give a strange Elizabethan-meets-cocktail feel to the collection. Forget minimalism and utilitarianism, Groves juggles loud paisley prints, acid colours, rounded silhouttes in a feast of flamboyancy. The collection is diverse and incorporates slouch pants, orange sparkly blouses, technicolour bow ties and fish tail dresses. The most impactful pieces are grey print trousers with extra bum space shown on a model who had a 'blown-up' bottom and a harlequin-style coat with inflatable full length lapels.
