The Wednesday Show

Day three of Alternative Fashion Week kicked off with satin corsets and powdered wigs courtesy of designer Ian Labeija. On what looked like a Vivienne Westwood-inspired tip, the collection featured feather head-dresses and prominent cod-pieces of varying sizes.
'Breathe' took to the catwalk with a collection to make disco divas drool... Street and clubwear consisted of a mix of red shiny red PVC dresses, all-in-one jumpsuits made from parachute fabric and sporty numbers combining tiny tank tops with wide-legged trousers. Adidas inspired racing stripes appear on anything racy enough to handle them.
Design team David Pascall and Ean Hallet have created an impressive range of 'rugged but relaxed' menswear. Lads with reflective blue eye coverings stepped out in sheepskin coats with hoods big enough for two. Tailored jackets and corduroy trousers with built-in turn-ups feature along with a hint of royal blue leatherette in button-up shirts and straight-legged pants.
Emma Louise Cullen has the snowboards out in a great range of white padded trousers and jackets with buckles in all the right places. Apron waist attachments, additional pockets and extra padding detail fuses a funky streetwear look with the function and practicality of skiwear.
The students from the Colchester Institute showed us how to wear our lungs on the outside in a fantastic display of biology inspired wearable art. In contrast, Chelsea College of Art and Design dips back to the 1980s with fluorescent tops and traffic-stopping tube skirts.

Finally, Dragana Perisic's simple, stylish pieces consists of wraps for men and long straight skirts for women. Green and gold stripes woven in a textured towelling cloth theme the collection with a peasant-inspired vibe of green pastures.
