The Thursday Show continued..

Samphan's (Samantha Davies and Phan Truong) 'Opposites Attract' fuses symmetrical shapes with odd combinations of fabrics. Their collection features nylon sleeveless tops, cheesecloth skirts, linen column dresses and icy white three button jackets for men. It's a simple range of beige and white pieces full of cool lines and understatement.
Cesar Santos and Lyon Choy presented aprons, skirts and black batty rider shorts with square cheesecloth tops and a black and silver Barbarella play suit with obligatory stick-on metal breasts. Then something weird happened: the sexy separates vanished and the stage was adorned with pale-faced men in fancy Edwardian wire-skirted dresses. Fellas really need balls to wear frocks like these!
The final collection, Spunk by Alex Kuntz, was a bewitching display of fetishistic pieces. PVC, fishnet, Lycra and velvet were worked into corsets, coats and masks. Luminous green stretch dresses with elongated necks that served as masks appeared with supernaturally strange column dresses and a floor-sweeping black velvet coat. This is definitely one for the gothic fans.
