Still going strong in the fashion stakes, expect a fall at any moment. The winter 2000/01 range does include some nice touches, which may keep it going into next year, including knee-length boots, beaded evening bags and gloves and hats adorned with frosted beads which look like snowflakes.
The traditional range of trench coats, scarves and shirts will always be popular with some people. Separate experimental lines like Prosum may keep up with current trends.

It may not care about being in fashion and it may use the same weather-proofing process it has always used, but Barbour has embraced new technology with a website.
There's also a new Urban range which is designed for city-dwellers and is sharp, classic and trend-conscious at the same time. A gradually growing 80s revival and hip kids looking for a Burberry alternative, might lead Barbour into the fashion spotlight whether they like it or not.
